wow... i havent written anythin in here since january...  whats goin on my brothas n sistas?  hope all yous readin this are havin a good summer so far.  only halfway through it.  well.. this month has been a busy one for me.  started out da month goin to san fran for the korean olympics.  this year i was reppin da maryland basketball team.  our team didnt do too well... hahaha... enough of that.  anyway, i got back from san fran on da 3rd n then had work on da 4th, had a fire in our second due area at a strip shopping mall at 3 in da mornin, then i had ta work on da 5th from 7am to 7pm cause i was coverin for someone.  so basically i worked a 36 hour shift.  then i had work on friday, da 6th n sunday da 8th... on monday, i had ta stay in a lil late cause i was coverin for someone again, tuesday i had work again n today im workin 24 hrs of overtime.

you're probably wonderin whats new wit me otha then work.  well lets see now...  i'm almost done wit my probationary year.  its comin on a year n a half almost since i been hired in march of '06.  so that means i been livin down here in northern va for bout da same time.  i have somewhat gotten adjusted to life down here.. but you know its still not da same.  i mean i try ta go out a decent amount to dc, but its not da same as goin wit my good ol' buds back in jersey n nyc.  i still play a decent amount of ball.  leading to the korean olympics, i was playin like 4-5 times a week.  right now im tryin ta maintain playin atleast 1-3 times a week.  i havent dj'd at a club or party since august of '06.  so its been a while for me.  a promo crew down here called absolute addiction is supposed ta pick me up.. but hes been delayin that for a minute now.  supposedly hes gonna have me be a resident at a new club that they're openin up, but who knows when thas gonna happen. 

yo.. whats good wit my parents tryin ta hook me up wit girls?  obviously they feel that i cant handle that department on my own.  i guess they see that i havent had a girl throughout college n feel that i dont have da tools necessary ta woo a girl.  thas why MY SISTA needs ta introduce... ahem ahem ahem.....  ahahahah

im lovin life right now da way it is.  of course im missin all my friends up in da north.  im sorta in da middle of a couple things right now.  theres a business opportunity for me out in cali where id basically move wit one of my best friends.  theres also the firefighter job at jersey city.  im STILL waitin on that shiet...  can you believe it, i applied to jersey city before i applied to fairfax county n im already a year in down here.  its unbelievable how slow da recruiting process is up in jersey.  da next phase in that process is waitin for a list to come out which ranks all the candidates from 1st to last by average of our written exam, team exam, n or physical exam.  i think by da time it got to da physical portion... the number dropped from like 2000 to like 700, but supposedly only 500 showed up for da physical exam.  but i mean, if i sit there n think bout it... lets say im in da top 100.. which usually means you'd get hired.  i still gotta wait for them ta select me... then i gotta do a health physical, then go through da background check.. i mean, then id be startin ova like in a year or two from now... do i really wanna do that?  we'll see.  i leave it in God's hands.

anyway, i know that was a bunch of ranting... let me think what else is goin on... i was supposed to go ta korea at da end of this month but since da plane tickets are ridiculously priced ($1600) i ended up not goin cause i could only stay for like 10 days (not even if you count all da to n from traveling time).  i probably wont end up doin anythin for my birthday this year since its in between my two workin days.  i dont really have anyone down here that id really wanna celebrate it wit anyway, you know?  i was in jersey last weekend ta see my boy (childhood friend) alaric.  it was good ta see him n da whole crew who consists of anotha one of our childhood friends tan, n da whole washburn crew.  we even went to a tuxedo shop all together to get fitted for tan's wedding.  da whole time i was up there, we basically roamed as a group.  they got trashed every night from bars n clubs.  ill be chillin down here this weekend.. but ill be goin back up ta jersey probably on wednesday n ima try ta stay til sunday mornin atleast.  its my boy jon n catherine's wedding.  FINALLY they're gettin married.  they even already live togetha. 

oh yeah.. at da end of this month me n my sista are havin our annual bbq.  if you didnt already get an evite from me.. that means eitha da email address i have for you isnt in use anymore (which is da case for most), or i jus simply didnt have your email address in my address book.  so get back ta me asap.  its gonna be held at our parents house in good ol' east hanover new jersey on july 28th (saturday).

i think thas enough for writin for today.  i miss all yous out there.  this digital world of ours sucks cause it makes us less likely ta call each otha up ta find out whats goin on.  instead... you get a measly comment.  ok.. ill get off my soapbox.  PEACE!!!

whas goin on my peoples?  jus writin a quick post before i head off ta bed.  life is pretty routine these days.  station life is helpin me to be a lil more disciplined at home in terms of cleaning n stuff.  im headin up ta jersey tomorrow (wednesday).  so hopefully i get ta chill wit a lot of people while im up there.  its robby's birthday in a couple hours, n margaret's birthday is comin up.  thats a lot of da reason why im goin up.  anyway, if you read dis n you dont got much ta do, holla at a brotha... maybe we can get up. 

this is why you shouldnt park near a hydrant...  my friend was sayin, "atleast they didnt break da windows"...
